What is Seedream 5.0 Pro best used for?

It is well suited to detailed image generation, cinematic environments, polished product and editorial concepts, and reference-led visual exploration.

Can I use Seedream 5.0 Pro without reference images?

Yes. The shared model registry selects the text-to-image endpoint when no references are present and the image-to-image endpoint when you add authorized references.

How many reference images can I add?

The current SugarCube configuration accepts up to 10 JPG, PNG, or WebP references. Each added reference contributes to the displayed credit cost.

Which quality and aspect ratio options are supported?

Seedream supports 1K and 2K quality with square, portrait, landscape, 3:2, and 2:3 ratios. The current provider configuration does not allow 2K with 16:9 or 9:16.

How many SugarCube credits does Seedream use?

Cost depends on quality and reference count. The current configuration starts at 60 credits for a 1K text-only generation and 110 credits for 2K, with additional reference-image cost shown before submission.

What happens if generation fails?

SugarCube keeps the prompt and page context available for recovery. A failed generation is marked clearly and its reserved SugarCube credits are refunded automatically.
